GROW America: Gardens in Schools & Community Centers

The program transforms classrooms, community centers, green spaces, and homes into living laboratories for STEM and STEAM learning, sustainability, and community resilience. Students grow their own fruits, vegetables, and herbs using Growums garden kits paired with Little Green Thumb curriculum and a digital learning platform that extends the experience into the home, with each kit generating an estimated $180 in home-grown food value for participating families. The Flint and Martinsburg activations are designed as replicable, scalable models for learning environments nationwide.
